Eastmont Towers Community
Christian Retirement Homes, Inc. is a 501 (C) (3) not-for-profit corporation. This corporation owns the land and buildings which constitute the Eastmont Towers Community an independent, retirement community governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. The first building was constructed in 1967 and today, Eastmont has three additional towers as well as The Monarch, which specializes in end of life care.
The Eastmont Towers Community is Lincoln's only CCRC - Continuing Care Retirement Community. There are three CCRCs in the State of Nebraska . These communities offer seniors independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing care all on the same campus. As a result, when an individual's needs change, there is a smooth transition to the higher level of care.
Located just south of Westfield Shoppingtown Gateway in the 6300 block of O Street, Eastmont is home to approximately 300 seniors and a compassionate and caring staff of over 200 employees. We are an extremely diverse and welcoming community with a tradition of providing continuing care and thereby enhancing retirement living. Residents enjoy numerous activities and events, benefit from our numerous exercise programs and fitness centers, browse through the library/computer resource centers and have multiple lounges and common areas for gatherings with family and friends. Founded by a Board of Pastors and Ministers, Eastmont offers an active religious life program which includes the services of a part-time chaplain and several non-denominational chapel services a week. Catholic Mass is offered once a week.
